Программа курса
6 модулей, 26 уроков
Introduction
1 урокThe visual system and the critical period
6 уроков- Amblyopia is the cortex, not "retinal laziness"
- Binocular vision: what exactly breaks in amblyopia
- The critical period is not a single door that slams shut at age seven
- Why age changes the prognosis — and which numbers exactly show it
- The module's boundaries: what plasticity does not explain and where the course goes no further
- Checkpoint 1
Forms of amblyopia and their causes
6 уроков- Classify by cause, because the first step depends on the cause
- Refractive amblyopia: when blur by itself spoils development
- Anisometropic amblyopia: quiet unilateral defocus
- Strabismic amblyopia: the cortex selects one channel
- Deprivation and reverse amblyopia: the rarest and most urgent edge
- Checkpoint 2
Diagnosis — acuity, refraction, binocular function
6 уроков- The examination plan: not a list of items, but protection against a missed cause
- Visual acuity: crowding, optotypes, and why "read one picture" is not acuity
- Cycloplegic refraction: without it the forms of Module 2 are guesswork
- Binocular function: what to measure so as not to treat only the chart
- When it is not amblyopia: the differential diagnosis it is shameful to miss
- Checkpoint 3
Treatment: what is proven, what is promising, what does not work
6 уроков- Optical correction is not a prelude but the first treatment
- Occlusion: doses that have withstood head-to-head comparison, not "the more the better"
- Atropine: not an emergency exit but an equal regimen with a different harm profile
- Three baskets: proven in RCTs, under investigation, not supported
- How to end treatment and how not to lose a line you have already gained
- Checkpoint 4
